Top 10 List

So this list is a list of my top 10 movies. I've been asked to this before, and it's always been really hard. It's easier to put them in different categories: Sci-Fi, war, sports, musicals, crime dramas, and so on. But I'll do my best just to do my top 10 movies of all time. Please understand, this list isn't in any order except for the last movie on my list. Other than that, this is just a list of my favorite movies.
10: The Dark Knight. Christopher Nolan (Who has another movie on my list) made a movie masterpiece when he made the second movie in his Batman Trilogy, The Dark Knight. The thing that made this move so great was the action, but more importantly, the psychological aspects of Batman. Batman won't kill anyone, but the Joker is the one man that Batman has faced that makes him think about breaking his one rule.
9: Star Wars. I know, what a dorky choice, but this movie was my childhood. This is the one movie that I feel every kid should see. I can't tell you how many times me and my friends played Star Wars on the playground, or in my backyard.
8: Saving Private Ryan. This terribly good movie could be found on a list of some of the best movies ever made, or a list of best written movies. Saving Private Ryan was one of the best, worst movies I've ever seen. It was the best because of the writing, the acting, everything. It was one of the worst because of how graphic the language and the violence was. For me, it's kind of hard to explain on paper what made this movie amazing, unless you've seen it.
7: Dumb and Dumber. If you asked my brother for a list of his top 5 favorite movies, or just what his favorite movies was, I can guarantee that this would be on it. I'm not kidding when I say, with a group of our friends, we'll quote Dumb and Dumber all the time, and usually it actually makes sense. Dumb and Dumber was hilarious, and a movie that will make me laugh no matter how many times I watch it.
6: The Borne Supremacy: The first movie of the Borne Trilogy.
5: Shutter Island: This is a psychological thriller that makes almost no sense until the end. Leonardo DiCaprio plays a U.S. Marshal who's called into solve a mystery about a patient at an insane asylum on an island that escaped. Basically, right when you think something makes sense, something changes to make you confused. It's almost like the movie is laughing at you because the creators know that you have no idea whats going on, and it kinda takes pride in that. Great movie.
4: Skyfall. This is the latest James Bond movie. Amazing, 'nuff said.
3: The Avengers. This movie was way better then I thought it would be. It was funny, it had a lot of action, and Captain America wasn't really annoying like he was in the movie Captain American the first Avenger. This was actually just a really great movie. It's number three because I bought it a little while ago, and because I feel like watching it right now.
2: The Dark Knight Rises. The finally movie in the Dark Knight trilogy. This is such a good movie, that's all, and deserves a spot on my list as #2.
1: Inception. This was an amazing movie, staring Leonardo DiCapprio about dreams, and the idea of stealing ideas and information, and also about implanting ideas in people's head, all in a dream. This is a movie that I could watch over and over again and still understand, and still see more that I didn't see the first time. This movie is without a doubt, my favorite movie, and I would recommend it to anyone.
I can say i've seen about 2 of those movies. But great detail. I love your writing.
